В американському містечку Аламіда, у мистецькій галереії, відбулася виставка-аукціон "Соняшники України".
Лотами виставки стали художні твори дітей з України, як корінних жителів Черкас, так і переселенців (близько 50-ти робіт) та місцевих митців з різних міст Каліфорнії (понад 100 робіт) .

З гордістю зазначаємо, що ротарієць з Черкас Леонід Лащенко зі своєю родиною та америнкаськими друзями Carmen Reid, Juvy Tamor, Christian Gilby провели надзвичайно кропітку та складну роботу з організації виставки. Також вони уклали альбом з описом малюнків та короткою інформацією про авторів.

In California, USA, the creative competition "Sunflowers of Ukraine", organized by the cooperation of RC Cherkasy Center and Rotary Clubs of Santa Rosa, has started.
For several weeks we have been collecting refugee children's drawings from Sumy, Kharkiv, Donetsk and Chernihiv in Cherkasy. Within the framework of the contest a charitable sale of reprints of the collected drawings will be organized.
All collected funds will be spent on humanitarian aid to support hospitals in the Cherkasy region, to refugee, and to help those who suffered in the battlefields.
